[Request] Print Preview for User profile

Dear All,

I would like to suggest to have a print preview or export to pdf option for user profile to easily print or keep user's pdf record.

Hello Amitabhmca

You could in "Lists" choose address list, or create a list for your purpose.
You choose for the role you want ( probably members ) and then click preview.

You will then see one long list that you could print. You could for output choose a PDF-device

thanks for your suggestion. Its good for printing member list with address etc.

I am looking to see print preview for user/member profile and/Or export user/member profile to pdf which is not available at the moment.

It is possible.

You should install a printer that is a PDF-device. A PDF printer driver.

There are free software. Some examples :

http://www.pdf995.com/
http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php

There are more to find on the net, but I could suggest one of these.
Then you can direct all print to a pdf-file.

You could also copy the html-output from the print-preview to the clipboard and then paste it into Excel.

This is just to give you some inspiration to how to do what you want.

I have already tried all kind of PDF creators and it doesn't work and hence created the topic here..

Please let me know if you had any success getting profile print preview without these issues?

I am not quite sure how you got the result you show.

Click on the list.pdf in the bottom of the post.

It is a step-by-step explanation on how to direct the memberlist ( or other lists ) to a pdf-file and/or how to copy a memberlist to a spreadshhet.

Really appreciate your efforts and creating document.

Your document talks about creating member list but what i am looking for is print preview of individual user profile like as in below screenshot..There could be a link "Print Preview" added in the top or option to export profile as PDF..

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I am not quite sure what it should be used for. You could take a print-screen maybe. Or if you want is as selectable data, you could make a list with all the information needed, and then you could "grab" the information from the list.
Or you could use a report-tool like REPORTICO where you can get the data you want from the database and then create a report that excatly meet your needs. You can even set up a report so the login from ADMIDIO is inhereited to REPORTICO and then only user 34 can see information from a report for user 34.

Maybe you could explain why it is you want a preview for the user-page - how and for what should the print be used?
