inserting material in events

Hello ADMIDIO

It is rather easy to insert a jpg image in an event - but You cant insert (upload ) GIF files - why is that ?
BUT You can insert a url to a gif file, and thsi works OK.
Also - You can't upload a PDF but You can insert a link to a pdf-file and this works fine.

When You have an event that is ( for example ) a trip to the capital city, You possibly have a tour-program for that trip.
You could put all the text in the event, but this will be too much. You possibly already have the program in a pdf format, so You could make a link to it. BUT - this requires You are able to upload the PDF to the web. This is no problem if You are the webmaster, but if You just are responsible for the event, then You maybe cant "attach" the program via a link.
It would be a good thing if You could also upload GIF's and PDF's. ( like the JPG's ) - most relevant with the PDF.

Another thing. When You have a link to a PDF, You can have this opened in another window. It should also be possible to have it opened in a pop-up but I can't have this to function. Should this not be possible ????

We already have this request in our issue tracker on github.
It should be possible to attach files to an event.
This issue maybe for further Admidio versions in future. At this time it is not on the roadmap for the next 3.3. If anybody is interested to work on this we can support this anytime. Basiclly anybody is needed to do that.

I had a question : Shouldn't it be possible to have a link ( in this case to a PDF-file ) in a popup box ?
I can't get this to function.

I have made an event in the demo-area.
The event is made for the 16.03.2017 - "En lille begivenhed"

I have here a link to a PDF file.
I have tried to get this link opened in a pop-up - with no success.
The system allows my settings, but when I save and afterwards edit the link, then the tab "Zielseite" is back to "<nicht festgelegt>".
I can have it to open in another window ( neuses fenster _blank ) but how to have it to open in a pop-up ?????????
