Error on Create User (similar name)

In 'User management' screen, click on 'Create user'.
In 'Create user' popup screen, enter user Surname, First name. (Smith, Joshua).
In 'Create user' popup screen, it shows under "User found", Joe Smith, Address etc., 'This user is not a member of organization **** yet' with button 'Assign roles'. Then under 'Add new user', 'If the new user is not listed among the users found, you can create it.' with button 'Add new user'.
Click on 'Add new user button'.
On 'Add user' screen, fill in remaining fields. Click 'Save'.
On 'Role Assignment Screen for Johsua Smith", leave default Member assignment and click Save.
On'Note' popup it shows 'Data can be saved'.
Now 'Note' screen changes and displays, 'Data can not be saved. No role was assigned to user' with the 'Back' link.
Cannot proceed beyond this screen.
However, if one exits to 'User management', searches for Joshua Smith, the user is created and data saved with role assigned.
Please look into this error and provide fix. Thanks.

could you try this with version 3.1.6.

Maybe this fixed issue could also solve your problem.
